This catalytic converter performs as advertised and bolts right in place. I removed a test pipe to install the cat, since the car is no longer my weekend racer, and the car passes the smog check with no trouble now. The numbers were very low, and there no performance loss that I can tell. There is NO reason a properly tuned car won''t pass smog with this cat in place.

No way this cat is 400 cpsi. The stock one might be, but there's no way the cell density is like 20x20 in a square inch. More like 100 cpsi. Very unlikely you'll pass smog. I wish it had a direction arrow, and I guess there's not much meat for gaskets, so I keep blowing them out.

Fits great, flows awesome, mellows out the sound of the car a bit over running a test pipe... No more fowl odor out the exhaust...
