Stainless Steel & available as direct bolt-on or custom weld-in bodies. The bolt-on units feature floating-flanges to allow flexible alignment to your custom DP and Cat-Back systems. Run mean 'n green without watching over your shoulder. Low restriction design will not choke your performance-exhaust system. You will pass emissions testing, even if this is your only cat. The metallic core is a new substrate with high flow characteristics for very high power cars.

All cats are built-to-order, with a typical 2-4 day leadtime. In overload conditions, the leadtime may be 6-9 days.

Excellent quality!
This catalytic converter performs as advertised and bolts right in place. I removed a test pipe to install the cat, since the car is no longer my weekend racer, and the car passes the smog check with no trouble now. The numbers were very low, and there no performance loss that I can tell. There is NO reason a properly tuned car won''t pass smog with this cat in place.

Volker is smoking something
No way this cat is 400 cpsi. The stock one might be, but there's no way the cell density is like 20x20 in a square inch. More like 100 cpsi. Very unlikely you'll pass smog. I wish it had a direction arrow, and I guess there's not much meat for gaskets, so I keep blowing them out.

RT Metallic Substrate CAT
Fits great, flows awesome, mellows out the sound of the car a bit over running a test pipe... No more fowl odor out the exhaust...

Good quality, but...
Let me split my review into two parts: 1. The quality of the cat is very good. You only need this cat to pass emmissions control (at least here in Germany). 2. The cat has a 400 cpsi core which means, it is not really high flow. For a high flow cat, you should go for a 200 cpsi or maybe a 100 cpsi cat (for example from the German manufacturer HJS). They are really like having no cat and under warm conditions you will still pass emmissions controls.
