I bought this product because there is another guy in town that drives an MK3 and he suggested it to me. If it gets dirty... just clean it! The 7M-GTE inhales the oxygen with an increditble force. When I installed this K&N air filter, my turbo gauge went past the 8 psi mark. Pretty impressive considering the gauge in the MK3 only goes up to 8!

This filter offered a few extra HP but not the deep intake sound I was looking for. Save your money for the FIPK! SS Reply: Sorry, intakes are not used to tune for 'cool sounds'.

I like this product because of its durability. If it gets dirty, just clean it, and reuse...forever-! Great sound as well, you car really hear the 7m inhale o2
