Please consult your machine shop to select the proper MHG thickness for your rebuild project. Take into account the amount of material removed and your target compression ratio. The most popular thickness for the typical head/block cleanup is the 1.2mm bead type. More aggressive defect/warpage mill jobs or high boost applications often use the 2.0mm bead type. ARP bolts are available for the reliable rebuild. Consult a professional engine builder if you need further/detailed assistance. Bead: Multi seperate metal layers. Ring-shaped seal on the cylinder bores. Stopper: More multi seperate metal layers with better cylinder seal for high power applications.

This MHG has a bore of 86mm & will give you a compression of 8.37. This MHG is selected if you do not want to change your compression ratio and you are shooting for a high horsepower application with the utmost safety in mind.
