The HKS DP is a mild-steel direct fit unit. The flex-joint in this product has a slight restriction from the diameter of the pipe, so it is not as efficient as the other brands of DPs. This unit also hangs lower than the other brands and is much more likely to scrape when used on a lowered vehicle. If you want the best performance gain or wish to avoid the scraping risk, please choose another of the DP options. If you want the lowest cost DP solution, this is it. The pipe bolts on to your stock or SS 3in Elbow.

  This downpipe eliminates the 1st pre-cat.
