| I had one in my last vehicle and this was the first mod in my 89 turbo (since the tranny was bein' rebuilt anyhow)... The flywheel is perfect, went in witout any trouble even using the factory clutch... It does everything a lightened flywheel is suppose to, better throttle responce, quicker revs, and very streetable... Great mod, especially if your already dropping the tranny... |

| High quality unit. I had purchased a clutchmaster flywheel for my Integra since the whimpy little 1.8 had a hard time moving the stock 20+lb flywheel. Made a world of difference with the little 4cyl.
When I picked up the supra I decided to do the same... it's like using rocket fuel in a ZX-12R... little bit of overkill. With the 3 in. exhaust and downpipe and this flywheel, my supra feels like a raging bull when it hits boost. Almost terrifying!
I went with the Fidanza because of the price and I hadn't really heard any bad reviews on it. It is a good replacement over the stock clunker! I would honestly have to say that it helps the most in the lower RPM's where you don't have boost yet, it helps get you to the RPM's where your turbo starts spooling. Well worth the price. I would completely recommend that this is part of your next clutch job! Don't get the stock one resurfaced, just go ahead and spring for a total replacement! You won't be dissapointed! |
