Works perfect... Remove the center console to access the e-brake wire and you can ground the black wire from the turbo timer to one of the gold bolts under the shifter... So far I havent wired up the 02 sensor, but everything works good so far...

Great little item, compact, clear and easy to use. One word of advise, whatever you do, BUY THE INSTALL HARNESS, BUY THE HARNESS, BUY THE HARNESS. Oh, and you might wanna also BUY THE HARNESS!!!!!!!!-!!!!!!!

Sweet little product. Mounted it in my ashtray. Nice, slim, compact, does exactly what it should. Easy to install, hardest part is splicing into the parking brake because the wire for the parking brake is so short. Anyways great product, I recommend it.

Fantastic! Apexi is the one to own! It works the way the others should! I suffered with two bad GReddy turbo timers before, and this unit is far superior. In automatic mode, it works off the oxygen sensor to determine how long to cool down. Have you noticed how your air/fuel meter settles down after a few minutes at idle? The Apexi uses that to determine the cool down time instead of trying to track run time and RPMs. You can set a minimum and maximum time too - no more of the 9-minute cool-downs you get with other TTs. And if you wish, you can easily add or subtract time as it counts down. The single joy-stick control is very easy to use – the GReddy 3-buttons-at-on-ce system was impossible to use! This one is small enough to sit in your ashtray, and it has a long cord so you can pull it out when you want to adjust it - no need to secure it unless you want to. Installa-tion is a breeze, especially if you had another TT or have an air/fuel meter. Get the harness – they are all alike, so if you have one already it will work fine. Contrary to the instructions, you do not need to tap the ECU wires. If you have already tapped the oxygen sensor wire for an air/fuel gauge, just tap that wire. You need a good ground and a wire to the parking brake, and you are done. One thing: if you want the accessories to shut off when the key is turned off and the factory alarm to work, you need to disconnect the BLUE wire from the TT plug. (Red is power; green is engine; blue accessories.) Cut the blue wire to the TT, or better yet, use a nail file to release the prong from the TT plug and tape the prong good – it is live when the TT is keeping the engine running, so you do not want it shorting out! This is one fine unit – you will love it! SS Reply: Thanks for the contribution Rick, very informative!! Sorry about the hassles you had w/ the Greddy unit, that was not typical.
